Google’s nightmare “Web Integrity API” wants a DRM gatekeeper for the web
It’s just a “proposal,” but it’s also being prototyped inside Chrome right now.

So what does this mean for you.?
Well if you arent using Google Chrome as your browser (and later on, if you arent using the Google Chromium OS) well they’ll just block your access to websites.
Its also like an extreme version of a cookie that will be permanently attached to your browser and provide infinite tracking (of not just what sites you go to, but potentially keystrokes).
All under the guise of “safety”.
There is already a resistance forming, where people are actively dumping all Google products and services in retaliation.
