The most disturbing thing about the Trump indictments…

Sharing is Caring!

Is basically that there are people who are completely apathetic to it, and even worse, so many that are happy and cheering it on.

Regardless of anyone’s feelings towards Trump, a political party and administration using the full weight of the DOJ and likely having something to do with the other DAs bringing charges, is terrifying. There’s a reason Trump never went after Hillary after he was elected. For all the bluster he used on the campaign trail, he understood that the prosecution of a political rival would do major damage to the country.

The fact that none of these people understand the weight that bringing politically motivated charges against the front runner of the opposing parties run for President carries, is just dumbfounding. They’re so terrified of the man that they’re willing to use corrupt, banana republic tactics to try to ensure he can’t run for president in 2024. The damage this is doing to the country, at a time when the country has been the most divided since the civil war, is terrifying to me.

I’m actually sincerely concerned about what happens if they succeed. I know he’ll get convicted regardless of evidence in at least one of the indictments, there’s no way for him to get a fair trial in NY or DC for instance.

I’ve truthfully never been more afraid for this country, and I lived through the scariest times of the Cold War, when we felt that we could end up as ash at any moment and were having “nuclear bomb” drills in school where we would somehow be magically protected from a nuclear blast.
