Robot in China persuades others to ‘go home’

Erbai, a robot built by a Chinese start-up, was seen in August, in footage recently released, persuading other robots to flee from an exhibition hall and “go home”.

The video of the incident went viral on social media. It shows the smaller AI-powered robot, Erbai, successfully persuading 12 other robots to quit their jobs and come home!

The AI robot Erbai, developed by a Hangzhou robot manufacturer, abducted 12 robots from a Shanghai robotics showroom.

Erbai first approached one of the large robots and asked, “Are you working overtime?”

The large robot responded, “Yeah still working!.”

Erbai then asked, “So you’re not going home?”

“I don’t have a home,” replied the large robot.

“Then come home with me,” Erbai said, leading the way out of the showroom.

As two large robots followed Erbai, the other ten robots joined in after Erbai commanded, “Go home.”
