Most Underrated Credit Card

Sharing is Caring!

I never hear people talking about the Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards Card, but it’s one of the best cards out there. You get 3% cash back (up to $2,500 per quarter) for your selected category (I have selected online purchases) and then 1% for everything else. So I use this card exclusively for online shopping.

Additionally, if you bank with Bank of America you can join their “Preferred Rewards” program and earn additional 25% 50% or 75% points depending on your tier level (aka total funds within all BoA accounts, including Merrill Lynch). I’m in the lowest tier, so I earn an additional 25%.

For example, a $100 purchase that earns 3% ($3.00) will actually earn $3.75, $4.50 or $5.25 based on your tier when the purchase posts to your account (this example is directly from the BOA website)
