The UN uses U.S. tax dollars to fund migrants heading to America.

Sharing is Caring!

The United Nations is funneling U.S. taxpayer dollars into prepaid debit cards and cash assistance for migrants traveling to the U.S. border. Under the 2024 R4V plan, $372 million has been allocated to aid over 600,000 migrants across 17 countries. This is part of a $1.6 billion initiative, heavily financed by American taxpayers.

Though initially labeled as support for Venezuelans, the aid explicitly extends to “all nationalities.” Critics argue this program not only enables illegal migration but also exacerbates the crisis at the southern border. Migrants use these funds to finance their journeys, putting immense strain on U.S. resources.

Updated in December 2023, the R4V plan claims to address humanitarian needs. However, many question why American taxpayers are expected to bankroll a system encouraging mass migration. With inflation squeezing families, this misuse of funds feels like an insult to citizens already struggling to make ends meet.

Border security remains a growing concern, with critics calling out the UN’s role in the chaos. Programs like this incentivize illegal crossings, intensifying pressures on overwhelmed border agents and local governments. It’s time for the U.S. to reassess its priorities—securing its borders and focusing on its citizens should come first.

The misuse of taxpayer dollars to fuel migration crises is a betrayal. Americans deserve transparency and accountability for how their hard-earned money is spent. Instead of enabling border turmoil, the U.S. must demand reform and stronger oversight of international aid programs.
