EU countries are obliged to execute the International Criminal Court’s warrant for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This decision is not simply political, stated EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, according to Europa Press.
“This is not a political decision; it is a decision of the international court, and court decisions must be respected and implemented,” he said during his visit to Jordan.
He added that the court’s decision regarding Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is binding for EU countries, as they are members of the ICC.
