As a new president prepares to enter the white house, some say NYC’s sanctuary status may offer one of the last possible refuges for those afraid of a potential surge in US deportations.
That being said, legal asylum seekers have a right to remain in america, even outside of sanctuary cities… which has many wondering who the real beneficiaries of sanctuary city policies actually are.
