Lots of internet chatter that Austin has given permission to hit targets inside Russia with U.S. Weapons. Weapons that require active U.S. participation such as live Intel and satellite targeting, although there is some pushback on that point.
If Democrats really are losing to Trump badly, it would not be at all unthinkable that they would start a World War to delay/cancel the election, and to remain in power.
