Why is hate speech and violence okay if it’s against right?

Sharing is Caring!

via reddit:

I don’t support the right or trump but I also don’t promote hate speech or political violence. How come fat shamming was a big no on Reddit but now it’s getting on the front page making fun of trump? What happened to Reddit having a set of rules that everyone had to follow regardless of what sub? It’s clearly only being upheld if you agree with the mods. Is there anything we can do to combat the obvious abuse of power and make reddit a safe place for open honest discussion without hate and violence? Dare I say someone from deep state is loving this/helping the agenda?

Rule 1

Remember the human. Reddit is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. Everyone has a right to use Reddit free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Communities and users that incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.

Edit: go look at the top sub reddits if you don’t believe it, pics is a great one. I don’t support the two party system or any of our current leaders. Please don’t be triggered with preconceived ideas about me, I just want to discuss openly the hypocrisy and possible solutions. I still believe it’s appropriate for conspiracy sub because somebody with power is pushing this and wants it to happen.
