Australian government criticised for ‘oversight’ on immigration

Liberal MP Garth Hamilton has joined Sky News host Andrew Bolt to discuss ASIO and the government’s “oversight” on immigration.

Mr Hamilton has criticised Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke suggesting the minister can step in but is “choosing not to”.

“He [Burke] can step in, he can do something if he chooses to, he’s choosing not to,” Mr Hamilton said.
