Explosions Reported at Dow Chemical Plant in Plaquemine Louisiana

Sharing is Caring!

by Chris Black

Dow chemical alongside the other major petro chemical plants effectively owns the Louisiana State government.

Despite massive investment locked into Louisiana in the form of vast plants the state of Louisiana refuses to impose a reasonable tax rate on Dow resulting in Dow money fleeing the state to enrich the Company at the cost of the people and their health.

In addition to tax cuts and exemptions Dow is given equal water rights for its plants as major cities full of people and is sucking the aquifers of the central south Louisiana dry of fresh clean water.

Louisiana refuses to impose costs on the Company and lets them run cut rate and dangerous chemical production to increase their profit margins for no benefit to the state and its crumbling infrastructure.
