I used to love @tenaciousd and thought Jack Black was funny. None of them or their music/movies will ever be played in our home again. Ever. Sickening. Not funny and done in a foreign country is even worse. If you think it’s OK, unfollow and block me. pic.twitter.com/2KG2uzUKEY

Tenacious D has canceled their entire tour and put all future projects on hold. This decision came after Kyle Gass made a controversial comment about former President Donald Trump during a recent concert in Sydney, Australia. Jack Black, the other half of the duo, announced the cancellation and expressed that he was blindsided by Gass’ remark.

Jack Black went on stage with his band over the weekend and his bandmate said "don't miss Trump next time" to laughs from the audience.
A month ago, he was a featured speaker at Biden's fundraiser in Los Angeles.

Based on people close to the situation, it sounds like damage control, not authenticity.
You do you. I’m actively deleting the Tenacious D songs I have bought on Apple music.

Not only that, but he also seems to be ending TenaciousD altogether.

With Jack Black canceling his tour Tenacious D because of the backlash from his comments, will James Carville and Dan Goldman retract their statements too? pic.twitter.com/PhnQM0aiHM
