71% of REALTORS sold ZERO HOMES last year. NOW QUITTING in DROVES

Nothing selling in my area for over a year except two lower priced units.

The days of using your house as bank account are over. Flippers are fu**ed as well.

WASHINGTON (TNND) — A recent report from Inman, a real estate publication, reveals a Redfin survey found that 71% of active real estate agents did not close any home sales in 2024. This startling statistic highlights significant challenges within the real estate industry, including home affordability and inventory shortages.

The report notes just a third of real estate agents are active so the percentage only represents active real estate agents.

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) provided contrasting data. According to the latest NAR data, only 5% of its more than 1.5 million members had zero transactions in 2023.
