Today in 2008 Lehman Brothers files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the largest bankruptcy filing in U.S. history
Today is Lehman day, 15 years later.
What we see in the chart below, is that as 2008 evolved, the VIX pulled back but then made a higher low.
This year, the VIX has continued making lower lows.
Complacency is much higher this time around.

Predictions of high rates imploding housing have yet to come true.
High rates have trapped homeowners in their homes. Low rates will allow them to sell and buy a cheaper home.
Bulls are praying for lower rates.
